Learn how to build professional websites and webapps using the modern technologies of HTML5, CSS and Java Script. In this workshop, you will learn the basics of general computer programming, how to design websites, the logic behind coding and design, and how this logic can be applied to website creation. We will be learning HTML, CSS, and some basic Javascript (JS) during the sessions.By the end of the class, you will have both learned how to create sample websites as well as learned how to design and publish your own personal website in the future.
No previous programming experience is necessary, and we encourage all beginners (6th grade and above) who are interested in learning how to make websites and web apps to come out and try the class. Register only if you can attend all of the workshops with a laptop of your own (if you don't have one, we have a few loaners that you need to reserve through the mathandcoding.com website).

Program Descriptions: Sign up by selecting from one of the Program Tabs at the top of the page.

  • Reading Kids - For children reading to themselves through entering 5th grade.

  • Reading Families - For the entire family to read together and for children not yet reading on their own.

  • Reading Teens - For teens entering 6th through 12th grade.

  • Adult Readers - For anyone 18 or older.
