Let's get on our bikes to learn:
• Gears, shifting and cadence
• Crash avoidance techniques
• Traffic/Intersection etiquette
Space is limited and registration is required. Registered Participants will be notified of meeting place and will need to bring a bike.
***You must have attended Urban Bike Skills: Be a Cyclist (http://goo.gl/yInuhJ) on May 3rd in order to attend this program. You got schooled; now we take it to the real world.
Also required: 1) a bicycle that is operable and in safe condition: tires pumped to suggested psi (look on tire wall), brakes working, pedals turning easily, chain oiled and moving well, etc. 2) helmet. This is a short class and we won't have time to fix any mechanical problems, so please come prepared. 3) snack and water.
