Travels with Sedaris! This could be the subtitle of this funny, macabre, moving, and politically incorrect collection of essays based on the author's travel experiences. As usual, many family portraits inserted in between. A must-read for all Sedaris fans.

Great for people who want to learn more about proper grammar and punctuation usage. Displays both right and wrong ways of using each point to help people identify. Also includes common misspelled words that readers may want to check out. Bright illustration by Maira Kalman are displayed throughout the book which breaks up the blandness from reading just text. If you're taking a liberal arts or English class, you may want to read this book for it helped me.  Check this out!

Waverly
Autor
Sir Walter Scott
Crítica
Scott's first novel anonymously published, as Scott was poet laureate. Edward Waverly has many adventures in going from his home Waverly Honor in the south of England to Embro in Scotland. On the way he stops at Tully_Veolan and talks to his family. Kidnapped by Highlanders after being accused of high treason and being sent to this death, he switches sides and joins the Jacobite revolution.
This is the first of the historical novel genre that Scott created. You may be more familiar with a later work of his, Ivanhoe.
Good reading - especially note the dialectical Lowland and Highland Scotish. A good read!!
