Sarah Simpson wanted to be anything but ordinary. Her father called her his idea girl. It was true Sarah had great ideas but right now Sarah could not think of anything to have a good idea about. Some time she wished she could change skin color. She was tired of white. Her friend Peter had skin the color of chocolate pudding. I don't want anything white said Sarah. I want to change skin color. Her mom laughed. Whats so funny said Sarah. Her mom took them to her art studio. Then Peter came. All of a sudden they heard a bird say coo coo uckle uckle. Thats our pigeons said Sarah. They just show up once a day. One day Sarah got upset because her pigeons were making a nest on the window sill of the house next door. Then one day Sarah became friends with the girl next door. Then her pigeons had a baby and Sarah was happy. I learned that disappointments can also be good. Me connection is that I love birds.  Find it in the Library Catalog
