How To Play
The “Kids Count Books” Program is designed for younger children, ages 4 and up, who are reading books independently. The child should be able to read full sentences.
Child’s Goal: To read
over the course of the summer.
Register your child online by clicking “sign me up.”
Check out books from the library and read.
Log in here and record the title and author of each book read.
Each week that your child reads at least two books toward the 100 book goal, bring your child to the library to pick up the weekly prize.
Children who reach the 100 book goal will receive a medal, an invitation to meet the Livermore City Council, and an entry into the raffle for a new bicycle (courtesy of Livermore Cyclery).
The Livermore Summer Reading Program begins on June 14, 2013 and ends at 5:00pm on August 17, 2013.
