One of the many things i love about this book is that it deals with a lesbian couple, which you don't see too often. The witty Jesse will make you laugh, the conflicted Emily will send you on a roller coaster of emotions. All in all, fantastic book!  Library Catalog

Trace
Author
Patricia Cornwell
Review
The plot of this book was utterly ridiculous, and I struggled through it, even though I usually enjoy unrealistic crime fiction. The general idea of a conspiracy in which a mentally ill person fixates on the medical examiner and her family and friends, is so odd, it just doesn't read as believable. The moments where the author adds conflict within the family of characters don't ring true, and we end up with a tangled mess of a book, dangling loose ends like an over-filled bowl of spaghetti.  Library Catalog
